How much do I get paid for service, repair and installation jobs?

When you complete your Engineer Connect profile, we explain the rates that are paid for each job type.

In simple terms, for planned maintenance, service visits or safety checks it’s a fixed fee. For breakdowns and repairs, you get paid time and materials.

New installations are priced relative to the complexity, timing and requirement of the new installation.

The prices shown on Engineer Connect exclude VAT and are subject to regular review to ensure they are attractive and account for inflation.

What happens if I can’t do the Service and Repair job for the Customer I referred?

If you can’t do a specific job, don’t worry. Just reject the job.

Our administrator will pass that job to another engineer from Engineer Connect.

Rest assured, you still retain the future service and repair work from your customer referrals.

What happens if I want to do more or less future Service and Repair work?

No problem. Firstly change your Engineer Connect profile accordingly.

You can always amend your Engineer Connect profile at any time and this will then adjust for any future customer registrations.

For any previous referrals where you no longer want the service and repair work, don’t worry. Either don’t accept the job when you are notified or contact the Engineer Connect Admin team.

What is involved with completing your Engineer Connect registration?

The Engineer Connect Admin team will need to validate your Gas Safe, MCS or OFTEC details and make sure you have the typical insurance and licenses in place to complete the work.

It’s a quick and easy process and they will make sure you are correctly set up to receive the service and repair work from your customer referrals as well as other new work.
